April, 4 the meeting of the Head of the Government of Karelia Sergey Leonidovich Katanandov with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is held in the Kremlin. During the meeting it is supposed to discuss problems of the further development of Karelia. In particular, Sergey Katanandov is going to discuss with the head of the country problems of preparation to the 300-th anniversary of Petrozavodsk concerning reconstruction of National Theatre and construction of the second platform of Petrozavodsk State University.
The Head of Karelia is also going to offer for discussion the problem on necessity of reduction of export duties, maintenance of payment of salaries to the state employees, and also the prospective construction of the atomic power station in Karelia. "We want to convince the President to create the special commission, which would understand the problem and make the weighed decision", - Sergey Katanandov has noted on the eve of the meeting. The themes offered by the Head of the Karelian Government are supported by the inhabitants of the republic as well. At the end of March during the interactive interrogation held by the State TV and Radio Company "Karelia" of 1101 of participating persons 273 persons have supported the discussion of the problem of necessity of export duties' reduction, and 436 persons have supported the discussion of increase of salaries in the budgetary sphere. 393 persons from the TV audience support the discussion of the problem of cancellation of plans of construction of the atomic power station in the republic at the level of the head of the state.
