Culture of Barents Euro-Arctic Region: New Horizons of Development Strategy international conference will take place in Murmansk on December, 5. Representatives of culture and art, experts in the sphere of culture and tourism management, Russian, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish participants of international projects will gather at the conference. Representatives of Karelia will also take part in it.
During the Forum a professional analysis and discussion of changes in the cultural sphere of the Barents Euro-Arctic Region within the past years will be held, and the agenda for the further development of cross-border cultural cooperation will be formed.
Four thematic sections “Entrepreneurship and “Public-Private Partnership in the sphere of culture”, “Historical and Cultural heritage of BEAR and Northern Identity”, “Culture and tourism” and "Synthesis of Arts: A New Paradigm for Development” will work at the forum.
The conference is held within the scope of the international project New Horizons 2013-2014 of the Kolarctic European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument cross-border cooperation (ENPI CBC) program supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
