Olympic champions in artistic gymnastics highly praised the sports infrastructure of Karelia
Nikita Nagorny, David Belyavsky, Vladislava Urazova held a master class for athletes and also met with young people.
Today, the Olympic champions in artistic gymnastics, Honored Masters of Sports of Russia Nikita Nagorny, David Belyavsky and Vladislava Urazova arrived in Petrozavodsk. The famous athletes visited the Regional Center of Artistic Gymnastics of Petrozavodsk, where the students of the Sports School No. 1 of Petrozavodsk exercise. The Olympians held a master class for the athletes and also signed autographs.
The kids were happy to take photos and asked about difficult elements and the secrets of their execution.
- I would like to thank the Head of Karelia for supporting the development of artistic gymnastics. Petrozavodsk has a fantastic gym and all the conditions for training. Good, competent specialists, the coaches, work here, and it is the main thing! Today I saw many talented guys, and everyone who works has the opportunity to become a champion. Maybe for someone today’s master class will be a landmark, and the guys will train even more thoroughly in the future and show great results, - said the Olympic champion Nikita Nagorny.
- The most important thing is to listen to the coach, as well as set a goal and go towards it. Even if something didn’t work out at the competition, you can’t give up, you need to draw conclusions and fight to the end to become the first, - added the Olympic champion Vladislava Urazova.
Let us recall that the regional center for sports gymnastics was built in preparation for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the republic. The building has a gymnastics hall and a fitness room with modern sports equipment, rooms for coaches, changing rooms and showers.
