The products of the Karelian manufacturers were highly appreciated at the exhibition “ProdExpo-2023” in Moscow
From February 6 to 9, Moscow hosted the 30th anniversary international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production, “Prodexpo-2023”. The exhibition is one of the ten largest global food exhibition projects.
This year, 2,027 companies from 35 countries including Europe, Asia, South America and Africa are displaying the best samples of food and beverages and the latest technologies.
More than 1,500 exhibitors are Russian, including many new brands besides traditional regular exhibitors.
9 companies from Karelia took part in the International Exhibition PRODEXPO-2023: “Trading House Yarmarka”, “Karelskoye Leto”, “Yagody Karelii”, “Voda Karelii”, “Fish Farm “Priladozhye”, “Healthy Food and Rest”, SPSPK “Agroalians”, “Kholod Slavmo” and IP Fedorenko N.V.
5 Karelian companies were awarded with special awards at the exhibition “PRODEXPO-2023”.
“Trading House Yarmarka” received the badge of honor “Roskachestvo” for the product “unground buckwheat”.
The gold medal of the tasting competition “Best Product” of the international exhibition “ProdExpo-2023” was awarded to the company “Karelskoye Leto” for this year novelties – the sauces “Brusnichniy k myasu” and “Klyukvenniy k ptitze”. Among dozens of samples of the sauces from various manufacturers, the jury rated the Karelian products the best. The new sauces in stylishly designed doypacks have already attracted attention of the buyers from federal chains, who have appreciated the premium composition of the sauces and their high taste quality. So, they will soon be found on shop shelves.
The products of the company “Kholod Slavmo”, “Karelskiy plombir 12%” and chocolate plombiere ice cream in a wafer cone 12%, received the title of the “Best Product-2023”, the gold medal and the laureate diploma.
The cabbage chips “Olonetskiye Osobye” won the competition “Innovative Product”, having received the gold medal in the nomination “Products for a Healthy Lifestyle”. The jury noted the completely pure composition of the product, its low calorie content and taste. In addition, the cooperative “Agroalians” from the Olonets region managed to reach agreements on cooperation with new partners and select equipment to expand their product range.
IP Fedorenko N.V.’s production received 3 gold medals: for the cold-smoked trout fillet, the cold-smoked whitefish back and the salted trout fillet. Besides, it got the gold star for the best innovative product, dried trout sticks “Premium”, and the Grand Prix for its soft trout caviar. In addition, Nikolai Fedorenko was awarded a diploma and a cup for winning the nomination “Best Enterprise-2023”.
– The Karelian companies traditionally take part in “Prodexpo”, and this year the products of our enterprises were especially noted by the exhibition jury for their exceptional quality and high consumer properties. This will help Karelian producers to enter new sales markets, as well as increase the ration scales within the country, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the economy of the region, - said the Minister of Economic Development and Industry of Karelia Oleg Ermolaev.
