Karelia received an award for the best support for regional producers at the exhibition “Russia”
The badge of honor was presented by the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko.
On January 18, at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, the results of the days of the regions were summed up. All 89 regions of the country presented their achievements, culture, traditions, and tourism potential.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the exhibition, the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko noted the merit of regional teams in creating a unique exposition of the exhibition “Russia”.
– Absolutely all regional teams really put their hearts into it, demonstrated the main achievements of the country, showed their traditions and culture, and talked about tourism and investment potential. In fact, they did much more: they helped people feel like they were a part of a big country, gave them confidence in the future and motivated them to achieve new goals themselves, - noted Sergei Kiriyenko.
Karelia was awarded for the best support for regional producers at the exhibition. The award, a memorial sign, was received by the Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia, the Head of the Administration of the Head of Karelia Tatyana Ignatyeva.
More than 40 industrial enterprises of the region, as well as small and medium-sized businesses, are represented at the Karelia stand of the “Russia” exhibition. For example, Petrozavodsk workshop Taru, OOO “Zolotaya Nit Pomorya”, OOO “Kompaniya Intalia”, OOO “Karelskiye Uzory”, “Karelskoye Leto”, “Mama Karelia”, “AgroAlians”, and many others offer their products at the “Department Store” site.
The international exhibition and forum “Russia” present the most important achievements of the country, collected at one site. Since its opening on November 4, the exhibition has been visited by more than five million people. On January 16, while holding his speech at the first All-Russian Municipal Forum “Small Motherland - the Power of Russia,” President Vladimir Putin proposed to extend the exhibition in the summer.
