The newest industrial technology park “Karelskiye Produkty” was built in the republic
Today, the technology park “Karelskiye Produkty” is undergoing reconstruction in order to increase its space. New tenants are additionally invited to cooperation.
The first industrial technology park for food production, “Karelskiye Produkty”, was built in Petrozavodsk. The presidential national project “SMEs and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” helps to create modern platforms.
– The technopark is a unique platform for locating innovative production facilities of the Karelian entrepreneurs in the field of production and processing of food goods. Today, 10 small and medium-sized businesses have received the resident status as part of previously conducted selections. All of them are implementing projects for the production and processing of food products, dietary supplements, as well as water bottling, – noted the Minister of Economic Development of Karelia Oleg Ermolaev.
The specialization of the new industrial technology park is production and processing of food goods, including innovative products. A laboratory, congress and exhibition hall, production and storage areas will be equipped here. Its technological and business infrastructure provides an opportunity for comprehensive development and support of business projects in this area: from an idea to implementation of the final product on the market.
For the residents of the technology park, a tax benefit with the use of a simplified taxation system is established: 8% instead of 15% for the “income minus expenses” object of taxation and 3% instead of 6% for the “income” object of taxation.
There is also a flexible program for subsidizing the costs of purchasing production equipment for the residents of the technology park. It is the compensation of up to 10 million rubles based on no more than 80% of the costs incurred for the purchase of equipment and the compensation of up to 1 million rubles based on no more than 40% of the costs incurred for paying the interest on loans for equipment and leasing payments for equipment.
– Currently, the rental rate is 550 rubles per 1 sq.m., while even at the construction stage of the facility most of the premises were distributed among the tenants who won the competitive selection. Today, we organized reconstruction of the interior of the technology park to increase its area. The loads on utility networks were included in the project with surplus resources, so the facility today is provided with free capacity. The building has two cargo-passenger elevators, a conference room, and its own boiler room. In the near future, we plan to launch a biological laboratory to conduct technical experiments, experimental studies, and analyzes of manufactured products.
