The Karelian delegation presented the tourism potential at the TITE-2024 exhibition in Teheran

TITE is the largest tourism exhibition in Iran, bringing together representatives from dozens of countries from Africa, Central Asia, Indonesia, Turkey, Oman, and other countries. The participation of the companies from Karelia provided an opportunity for our entrepreneurs to exchange experience, establish contacts with foreign partners and attract new investors.

The Karelian delegation took part in the official opening ceremony of the 17th Tehran International Tourism and related industries Exhibition TITE-2024. As part of the event, which took place from February 12th to 15th, the delegation of the tour operators from Karelia presented the recreational and tourist resources of the region. The companies participation was aimed at showcasing the latest trends, products and services in this field.

Leading regional companies in the field of tourism such as “InturLeader”, “TK Karelia Tur” and “TH Rodina” were represented at a specially organized Karelian stand. They shared their unique offers and attractive tourist routes around the republic. Our region was represented at the exhibition along with St. Petersburg and Tatarstan, which emphasizes its importance and potential in the Russian tourism industry.

As part of the business program of the delegation from Karelia, important business negotiations took place, where regional tourism products were presented. A presentation was also held at the round table organized by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Iranian Ministry of Tourism, where our representatives discussed the prospects for cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership with Iranian travel agents and tour operators. In addition, the representatives of the delegation gave interviews to local television channels, expanding the information presence of Karelia in Iran.

Participation of the Karelian delegation in the 17th Tehran International Tourism and related industries Exhibition TITE-2024 made it possible to attract the attention of foreign partners to the tourism potential of the region. This is an important step for development of tourism in Karelia and further attraction of investment in the industry.
