A large Russian hotel chain continues to develop business in Karelia

Ludmila Galaktionova, the director of the sales department of the management company Cosmos Hotel Group, shared the success story of the Cosmos Group.

Ludmila spoke about the Cosmos Hotel Group brand architecture, the categories and the number of hotels opened under the Cosmos brand. In the territory of Karelia, 3 hotels operate under the brand. These are 4* Cosmos Petrozavodsk and Cosmos Karelia Resort, which was created on the basis of the former residence of the first President of Russia in the village of Shuiskaya Chupa of the Prionezhsky district, as well as the three-star Cosmos Smart Segezha.

Ludmila Anatolyevna paid special attention to the Cosmos Smart Segezha hotel, which was opened last year in Segezha. This hotel has become the second three-star hotel opened in the Arctic zone of Karelia, which is the part of the Karelian White Sea tourist and recreational cluster. As part of the project, 1.08 billion rubles have already been invested, 58 new jobs have been created in the territory of the single-industry town. It is the first tourist site in Segezha, which provides international level services and is perfect for business events, as well as for receiving the tourists travelling to the north of Karelia. In addition, the Cosmos Smart Segezha hosts events for Segezha residents like Christmas holidays, culinary master classes, and musical nights.

The Cosmos Hotel Group has a variety of plans for Karelia. Firstly, it is creation of a full-fledged tourist complex on the basis of the Cosmos Smart Segezha, and secondly, it is development of the object in Shuiskaya Chupa.
